General booking conditions
These general conditions form an integral part of the contract stipulated with Ma & Mi For You Bed and Breakfast, located in Cefalù, in via di Belgioioso 4, 90015 (PA)
Booking and contract stipulation
The contract is stipulated by making a reservation by verbal, written (including e-mail) or electronic (including internet). By booking a structure you accept the booking conditions without any exception or reservation.
Services and prices
Unless otherwise specified, published prices are intended as daily prices.
The costs of the stay fee are not included in the price and must be paid on the spot by cash. Any additional services requested by the customer (such as additional cleaning, extra linen change, laundry, etc.) must be paid locally.
Terms of payment
In order to confirm the booking, the conditions will vary depending on whether the Non-Refundable or Refundable rate is chosen. In case of Non-Refundable Rate, payment is anticipated. In case of payment by credit card, the hotel can charge the amount at any time after booking, while if it is a bank transfer, the customer will have to pay within 3 days of booking and send a copy to the structure by email otherwise the reservation is not confirmed. In the case of a refundable rate, the customer has the option to cancel or change the reservation completely free of charge up to the fifth day before arrival. From the fourth day, the structure will charge the entire amount of the reservation or ask the client via email or telephone to arrange payment by other means (bank transfer or other payment methods).
In the event that the customer intends to modify the confirmed reservation, he must make it known as soon as possible to the Ma & Mi For You B&B, which, where possible, will activate to apply these changes. In the event that the structure is unable to apply these changes and the customer is unable to comply with the terms, the reservation will be canceled and the customer will be required to pay the cancellation fees which are equal to the entire amount of the booked stay.
The customer can cancel his booking in the following ways:
up to 5 days before the arrival date, in case of a refundable rate the modification or cancellation is free. In the event of a Non-Refundable Rate the customer cannot cancel and the property will charge the full amount of the stay unless the customer fails to communicate with the property within 2 hours of booking.Any cancellation must necessarily be communicated in writing. We regret that we cannot make exceptions for cancellation fees, for any reason, including personal emergencies.
Departures, arrivals and shorter stays
Check-in will take place from 12:00 until 22:00, after which time it will not be possible to take the room. In case of arrivals before 12.00, if possible, the customer can leave the car, the luggage and take the keys so that they can use the room when it is ready. Check-Out must take place no later than 10:30 am on the day of departure. Any changes to the time of arrival and departure must be communicated and agreed. In case of delay not communicated the Ma & Mi for You declines any responsibility. In the event that the customer is unable to occupy the room starting from the day or the scheduled time due to problems occurred during the trip, traffic, strikes, or for personal reasons, no reimbursement is envisaged. The same rule also applies in the case of early departures. During the high season there may be longer waiting times for handing over the keys.
Residence rules and obligations of the tenant
The occupancy of the apartment is limited to the number of persons indicated on the booking form (including children and babies). It will be forbidden to enter the surplus or to proceed with the immediate collection of the keys during the stay.
Behavior and responsibility
The tenant agrees to occupy the accommodation diligently, respecting all the rules of good neighborliness. Any damage caused by the tenant or other occupants must be reported immediately. The tenant is liable for any damage caused by himself or by other occupants.
Any damage caused to the accommodation must be compensated. No security deposit is required, but upon arrival the customer must communicate the credit card details that will be used as a guarantee. At the end of the stay the condition of the property and its equipment will be checked.
The customer, at the time of delivery of the room, is required to check all the equipment and to report any malfunctions or failures within 24 hours of delivery of the same, any claim received after or at the end of the stay will not be taken into consideration.
Responsibilities attributable to Ma&Mi For You
If, for reasons beyond its control, or due to force majeure, Ma & Mi For You B&B could not make the reserved property available, the tenant will be assigned a room in another building with similar characteristics, subject to its approval. In the event that the foregoing is not possible, Ma & Mi For You B&B will be obliged to cancel the booking and reimburse the tenant for the amount paid and he will not be entitled to any further compensation. Ma & Mi For You B&B is relieved of all responsibility for any shortages of effects and valuables or money of the tenant, kept in the rented accommodation. The tenant frees Ma & Mi For You B&B from any responsibility for damage to persons or things that may occur during the stay.
